i used a copy of the 'communist manifesto' by karl marx (in spanish) that i picked up during one of my solo shows in barcelona. the book came for free with a magazine i had bought. the birds are real birds from places like north korea and china. i paint a lot of birds... they tend to be my lightest subject matter, and pretty familiar with me. thanks for looking! matt sesow ( sesow.com )
