Two-Person Show — with Dana Ellyn

Two-Person Show (with Dana Ellyn) — "Made in China," Long View Gallery, 1302 9th Street NW, Washington, DC (August 16 – September 20, 2008; opening reception Saturday, August 16, 6–9 PM). Body of work created during a three-week state-sponsored tour of China in July 2008 — paintings from Beijing, the Yangtze River, the Three Gorges Dam, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Henan; large works included "Long March" (30×60, on a DC street banner with handmade paper from Beijing's Panjiayuan Market), "Factory Worker," "When You Ride Alone, You Ride with Mao," plus 50+ smaller works on bristol paper, many incorporating China Daily newspaper clippings on the back.
