Donated a sunflower painting to the benefit auction for Christ House, which provides healthcare for DC's unhoused (September 11, 2025)

A while back I was asked by one of my friends if I would be willing to create a sunflower painting for an auction being held to help support Christ House, an organization providing healthcare for DC's unhoused population. It's in the neighborhood I lived in for 20 years and where I got my start as a painter, Adams Morgan. Good news, the painting sold and here is the new owner!
I have done a handful of sunflower paintings since then, and there is still just one available, framed, available via Shop Made in DC in Georgetown or online at https://www.shopmadeindc.com/shop/sm-gallery/111
My life took a pivot recently, and yes, there will be more sunflowers, many. THANK YOU to everybody that has followed my work for the last 30 years, I appreciate it! And I now see a way for me to do this for 30 years more ++. Matt Sesow
