Had a great time seeing our friend Cullen Strawn last week and catching up on things! Cullen was curator and mastermind (along with Stirling Goulart) of my exhibition "Life and Limb" in 2021 at the ODU Baron and Ellin Gordon Art Galleries in Norfolk, VA. It was a solo exhibition of my paintings from 1994 through 2021.... oh and they also were able to get a handful of ORIGINAL Jean-Michel Basquiat paintings to show with my work, noting the influence his work has on my style. Featured artist in "William & Mary Collects III," the inaugural special exhibition of the newly expanded Muscarelle Museum of Art at William & Mary, Williamsburg, VA (February 7 – June 15, 2025). Sesow appears on pages 134–135 of the catalog with a full-page reproduction of "Born to Live" (1996, paint on board, 39½ × 29½ in), on loan from the Baron '49 and Ellin Gordon Collection of Art. The exhibition marked the museum's 40th anniversary and the completion of its renovation; fellow exhibited artists include Romare Bearden, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Edvard Munch, Faith Ringgold, Grandma Moses, Edward Hopper, Georgia O'Keeffe, Rembrandt van Rijn, Howard Finster and Edgar Degas
