BIG BIG NEWS!!! I'll be having a solo exhibition of 100+ of my paintings at the American Visionary Art Museum (American Visionary Art Museum) next spring 2016 through spring 2017. More details to follow :)

Spent a good part of the day yesterday measuring space at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore for my solo exhibition "Matt Sesow: Shock and Awe" that opens Spring 2016.

One of the large paintings I will be creating for my upcoming solo exhibition at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore (Spring 2016 - Spring 2017) will be a 'guide' or 'legend' to many of the icons I've used since I started painting in 1994.

Here is a webpage I created in 2010 to describe some of them... more to come!: http://icons.sesow.com

'on this day' from 2015... soon to be showing at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore:

Most of the paintings that will be part of my solo at the American Visionary Art Museum have now been selected! (the solo will be May 2016 thru May 2017). I've started to update my website, and will do more on it over the weeks... I'll be contacting those of you that submitted your paintings... it is going to be an AWESOME show. my best. thanks, Matt http://new.sesow.com
