“Join Hands: The Life and Art of Matt Sesow,” by award-winning documentarian Leslye Abbey

Documentary Film — "Join Hands: The Life and Art of Matt Sesow," by award-winning documentarian Leslye Abbey (Snowflake Video Productions), who began documenting Matt's story and artwork in the early 2000s. The film follows his early life in Nebraska through his 2010 wedding to Dana Ellyn at Long View Gallery. DVD orders opened December 30, 2014; Matt's first newsletter (April 2015) called it "recently released," and the DVD was shipping from Amazon by October 2015. The title was inspired by the 1979 Siouxsie and the Banshees album "Join Hands" — a connection rooted in Sesow's 1981 trip to Newcastle, England for the International Games for the Disabled, where he attended a Siouxsie and the Banshees charity concert arranged specifically for the disabled athletes (Newcastle Centre Hotel, August 10, 1981; documented in SOUNDS magazine). IMDB: tt4374584
